The Beginning

Coastalya was born from a simple yet profound love for Canada's magnificent waters. Founded in 2010 by Captain William MacLeod, a third-generation mariner from Nova Scotia, our company began with a single 45-foot sailing yacht and an unwavering commitment to sharing the beauty of our coastal heritage.

Captain MacLeod's vision was clear: to create authentic maritime experiences that honor both the majesty of Canadian waters and the safety of every guest aboard. What started as weekend charters from Toronto Harbor has evolved into a comprehensive fleet serving multiple provinces.

Our Evolution

Today, Coastalya operates a diverse fleet of premium vessels, each meticulously maintained and crewed by passionate maritime professionals. We've expanded our services to include everything from intimate sunset cruises to elaborate corporate events, always maintaining our founding principles of safety, sustainability, and genuine hospitality.
